I was told in seminary that Hegel was wrong in his "thesis-antithesis-synthesis" concept. That somehow he was eroding some belief in absolute truth.
I don't get that...as if I could somehow exhaust absolute truth. At best I am skimming the surface. Hegel was only identifying the way we test, or better, experience what is true- what holds water. He was helping us live.
So what I have written is "thesis". Maybe it's "anti-thesis", since I am trying to answer so many of the thoughts I have held and taught and which war in my head. This is all thinking out loud. Maybe in conversation we can get to a beautiful place.
